Making a claim in the event of damage caused by a natural hazard

If you have a current House insurance policy with Ando, you automatically have Natural Hazards Cover (NHCover) which is provided by the Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tū Ake (formerly EQC). NHCover provides the first $300,000 + GST of cover towards damage to your home, and some limited cover for your land against loss or damage from earthquakes, landslides, volcanic activity, hydrothermal activity, and tsunami. It also provides some limited cover for damage to your land from storms and floods.

To make the process simpler and easier, at what can be a very stressful time, we will be your (or your broker's) single point of contact if you need to make a claim. You will only need to lodge your claim with us and we will assess, manage, and settle your entire claim, including the NHCover portion of your claim.
