Due to an exciting internal promotion, we are now looking for a highly motivated person to take on the role of SME Underwriter, in our hardworking and high performing Digital Commercial team.

You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in commercial underwriting and have a strong understanding of the New Zealand market and emerging trends. You’ll be responsible for growing Ando’s business in the digital commercial sector through a variety of technology solutions.

Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be responsible for:

• Being the key point of contact for all underwriting referrals.
• Managing new business and ensuring the renewal of business is being retained by providing a first class service and technical advice.
• Being instrumental in process improvement.
• Monitoring and analysing trends across renewals and claims.
