HDI Global Specialty SE – New Zealand (HDI) is a specialty lines insurer. Ando is authorised under an underwriting agreement to issue insurance products, and to administer and manage claims on behalf of HDI. At times, certain lines of insurance products that Ando provides are co-insured between a Lloyd’s syndicate and HDI.
HDI is owned by HDI Global SE, part of the Talanx Group. HDI ’s focus is on writing agency and specialty insurance business with access to a global network of more than 175 countries through the HDI Global SE network. HDI also enjoys the same financial strength as HDI Global SE.
HDI is licensed by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) to carry out insurance business in New Zealand.
